You retain ownership of content you upload (recipes, images, comments). By uploading content, you grant Chef Cecil a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content in connection with the Services.

We reserve the right to review, remove, or modify any content that violates these Terms, without prior notice.
The Services, including all software, text, graphics, logos, and trademarks, are owned by Chef Cecil or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

Certain features require a paid subscription. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to pay all applicable fees.
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually). You authorize us to charge your payment method automatically.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial subscription periods, except as required by law.
We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days notice. Continued use after the price change constitutes acceptance.

Our Services may integrate with third-party services (Google OAuth, Facebook Login, Stripe, etc.). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.
Chef Cecil offers optional SMS notifications to help you manage your cooking activities. By providing your phone number and opting in to SMS notifications, you agree to receive the following types of messages:
By checking the "Enable SMS notifications" box during registration or in your account settings at www.chefcecil.com/dashboard/settings/notifications, you expressly consent to receive recurring automated text messages from Chef Cecil at the phone number you provided. Your consent is not a condition of purchase.
Message frequency varies based on your activity and preferences. You may receive multiple messages per day when actively using recipe sharing features, or fewer messages during periods of inactivity. Estimated frequency: 2-10 messages per week for active users.
Message and data rates may apply. Chef Cecil does not charge for SMS messages, but your mobile carrier's standard messaging rates may apply. Please contact your carrier for details about your messaging plan.
You can opt out of SMS notifications at any time by:
After opting out, you will receive a confirmation message and will no longer receive SMS messages from Chef Cecil. Opt-out requests are processed immediately.

Your phone number and SMS preferences are stored securely and will never be sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. We only share your phone number with our SMS service provider (Twilio) for the purpose of delivering messages. See our Privacy Policy for more information.
SMS notifications are available for most major US carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Chef Cecil provides nutritional information for informational purposes only. This information is NOT medical advice and should not replace consultation with healthcare professionals. We do not guarantee the accuracy of nutritional data.
We do not endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy of user-submitted recipes or content. Use recipes at your own risk.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CHEF CECIL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Chef Cecil, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules, except as required by law.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state in which Chef Cecil is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Chef Cecil regarding the Services.
