Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 9 or 10 Medium red potatoes, keep skin on

  • 1/2 milk (warm to hot)

  • 8 tablespoons (1 stick) butter

  • 1/2 cup sour cream

  • Chef Cecil’s Poultry Heat to taste

Directions

  1. Slice Potatoes 1/4 inch thick

  2. Cook in boiling water 15 minutes or until tender

  3. Mash potatoes or whip with an electric blender until kind of smooth. Keep a few lumps (it’s better that way)

  4. Add milk, butter, and sour cream.

  5. Add Poultry heat to taste

  6. Continue to mix.

  7. Optional- To make it less dense add more milk
