How healthy are your eating habits?
In the South we like to eat, a whole lot! Bacon goes with everything in my opinion. However it is important to enjoy it in moderation. To keep myself on track I eat a variety of foods and yes some of my choices are healthy. I prefer to get my vitamins, proteins, minerals, and energy from foods selected by following a dietary guideline based on the good ole Food Pyramid. I eat a lot, but I try to offset that with physical activity. Exercise helps reduce chances of high blood pressure, stroke, heart disease, and common diabetes. Another thing I like about exercise is it also builds my appetite (Woo HOO)! Try to choose a diet low in fat, saturated fat, and cholesterol. Following that suggestion should reduce your risk of heart attack and help you maintain a healthy weight. I once heard that tooth decay was linked to diets that were high in sugar and calories, but were low in nutrients.
